Welcome to the Pony Summer Sessions in Oxnard. Young riders can enjoy immersive equestrian experiences, build friendships, and create lasting memories while being guided through their equestrian journey by a professional equestrian staff with over 30+ years of experience
Summer Camp 2025
Exciting Pony Summer Session Dates:
- Session 1: June 23 - June 27
- Session 2: July 7 - July 11
- Session 3: July 21 - July 25
- Session 4: August 4 - August 8
Camp Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Cost: $690 per session
Registration Opens: February 14th at 10:00 AM (link will be posted at the bottom of this page)
Join us for an unforgettable Summer Camp Horse Experience! Designed for children ages 7-12, our camp offers a safe and immersive horse and ranch adventure.
What to Expect:
- Horsemanship Skills: Learn the essentials of caring for and handling horses.
- Horse Care: Discover how to take care of your horse.
- Horse Science: Explore the anatomy of horses and what makes each one unique.
- Creative Horse Art Projects
- Unmounted Horse Activities: Through non-verbal communication, build a bond with your horse.
- Horse Herd Observation: Understand herd dynamics and how they relate to peer development.
- Riding Lessons: Enjoy four 40- minute-riding lessons with a skilled professional equestrian instructor.
What to Bring:
- Pants (breeches)
- Boots with a small heel (paddock boots)
- Lunch
- Sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle
Equestrian's Excellence will provide extra water and sunscreen.
Note: In case of inclement weather (excessive heat, wind, or rain), we will offer unmounted indoor lessons to ensure the safety of our riders, staff, and horses.
Maximum of 8 kids/ session and a minimum of 5 kids.

In addition to riding activities, some sessions throughout the holiday may also include a diverse range of engaging clinics from local veterinarians, bodyworkers, dentists, farriers, and other equine practitioners, arts and crafts plus mounted/unmounted horse games, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for every participant.
